Information systems have never been able to deliver more than they do today; but, to maximise the potential, you need an integrated approach that will align your investment in technology with your organisation’s strategic and operational priorities. Information systems are only useful insofar as they meet your organisation’s needs; so it’s critical to be clear from the start about your objectives. Planning is the key! In this session, we’ll look at different approaches to information systems planning; how to use Theory of Change to identify the scope and implications of possible new systems and the best way to align technology to business processes. Plus, we’ll hear from organisations that have worked through the planning process themselves.
