Beverley has significant experience working at a strategic management level supporting organisations looking to achieve their goals through their people. For the past fifteen years she has worked in the not-for-profit sector, including 10 years as CEO of the Citizens Advice Bureau Cambridgeshire and subsequently as a Management Consultant supporting charities with organisational change.
She led a change management project funded by the Big Lottery that established a consortium of agencies creating easier access to advice. This required overcoming challenges such as conflicting priorities for different organisations, and engaging with a significant number of diverse public and private sector stakeholders.
As CEO she led a project to merge three charities into one, and therefore fully understands the pitfalls and barriers to implementing organisational change and has subsequently supported other charities to collaborate and merge.
She has worked with a variety of non- statutory and statutory organisations including:- Carers Trust, Citizens Advice, The Trussell Trust, Papworth Trust, CHS Group, Sanctuary Housing, Circle Housing and a variety of smaller local charities and organisations.
As an Associate member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) and the CMI (Change Management Institute), her experience is backed up by her professional qualifications with a Masters Level CIPD qualification in Human Resources Management and AMPG Accredited Change Management Practioner.
Beverley is passionate about supporting her local community and chairs various committees and is a trustee of a local charity supporting health and wellbeing. She says she is inspired by the commitment and dedication of the people working in the third sector.
