Adapta’s discussion sessions are among the most sought-after events in the third sector calendar. Our Digital Fundraising Webinar series forms part of our online collection of Answer-Time sessions, round-table discussions and video talks, and features a panel of thought leaders and specialists to share their knowledge and expertise, and to answer your questions about the opportunities, challenges and changes facing the sector.

Adapta webinar sessions are invitation only and participation is restricted to charities, membership bodies, trusts and other NfP organisations. The panel sessions are organised and chaired by Adapta and delivered by Zoom. Each session lasts 1 hour 15 minutes and is recorded for participants to download afterwards, share and discuss further.

About this session

Implementing a digital fundraising strategy requires a number of things; a strong digital culture, an understanding of the needs of your audiences. They are good places to start.

However, sooner or later your attention will need to be drawn to the technology. What digital fundraising platforms will work best for your organisation? How do you make sure you have a presence in those online and social channels where your supporters or fundraisers are already active? How do you make sure your in-house CRM and digital marketing platforms can connect in this multi-channel fundraising world?

About the panel

Bertie Bosredon, Associate Consultant, Adapta Consulting

Bertie helps organisations of all sizes develop their online presence, transform their digital culture, raise money online, improve engagement with their audiences, select the right technology, and pilot projects. He has over 20 years experience in digital. Bertie started his career in the charity sector at British Heart Foundation where he established the first online team and wrote BHF initial online fundraising strategy. He then joined Breast Cancer Care, where he implemented a range of online tools to support beneficiaries. Recently, Bertie helped the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement with the procurement of a global donation platform and the associated process to help small countries fundraising online. He has been working on the digital transformation programme of Handicap International / Humanity & Inclusion since 2015 and he's now helping the French, Belgium, and Swiss associations change their internal processes and mindset to increase engagement with external audiences.

Keith Collins, Principal Consultant, Adapta Consulting

Keith specialises in helping organisations develop and implement technology and digital strategies, with a particular focus on digital solutions (e.g. web CMS, digital marketing, e-learning), CRM platforms, and how technology can support improved engagement with supporters, members, volunteers and staff. Keith’s experience comes from roles both within the charity sector – including senior roles at both Christian Aid and Sue Ryder – and the commercial sector, working both for Blackbaud and a Salesforce partner delivering solutions to non-profit organisations across Europe. Keith has also been asked to speak at events both within the non-profit sector and beyond, including CeBIT – at the time the largest international IT expo – and fundraising conferences in the UK, Hungary, Germany and the Netherlands.
